1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Tabenspace, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this service.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information during registration
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3. License & Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Tabenspace for your personal or internal business purposes.

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on others' intellectual property or privacy rights
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without written permission
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Create accounts using false information or automated means
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the Service for illegal purposes or to promote illegal activity

4. User Content & Ownership

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on Tabenspace(tiles, notes, to-do lists, etc.). We do not claim ownership of your content.

4.2 License to Us

By uploading content, you grant Tabenspace a limited license to:

• Store, process, and display your content to provide the Service
• Back up your content for disaster recovery
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service

This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.

4.3 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have all necessary rights to upload it. You agree not to upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, design, and functionality are owned by Tabenspace and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws.

"Tabenspace," the Tabenspace logo, and related marks are trademarks and may not be used without prior written permission.

6. Paid Services & Billing

6.1 Subscription Plans

Tabenspace offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide access to premium features and are billed on a recurring basis.

6.2 Payments & Auto-Renewal

• Payments are processed through Stripe or Razorpay
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
• By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

6.3 Refund Policy

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Settings → Billing. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

7. Termination

7.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Account → "Delete My Account" or by emailing arunabh@tabenspace.com.

7.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Fail to pay fees due
• Are inactive for more than 2 years

7.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to Tabenspace ceases immediately. Your data will be retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted. Outstanding fees remain due.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, OR
• $100 USD (or local currency equivalent)

9. Disclaimers & Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is completely secure or free from viruses

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tabenspace from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
• Your User Content
• Any activity conducted through your account

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding shall be instituted exclusively in the courts located in Mumbai, Delhi, or Bangalore, India. You consent to the jurisdiction of these courts.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, please contact us at arunabh@tabenspace.com to attempt informal resolution. We will try to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

12.2 No Class Actions

You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis, not as a class action, consolidated action, or representative action.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes
• Displaying a prominent notice on the website

Your continued use of Tabenspace after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you must stop using the Service.
